As the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), you will be a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for defining and executing Omni Design's global revenue strategy. You will lead and integrate business development, worldwide sales, and marketing functions to drive significant revenue growth, expand our customer base, and establish strategic partnerships. This role requires a potent blend of strategic vision, operational excellence, and in-depth semiconductor industry expertise to capitalize on our market opportunities and achieve our ambitious growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, articulate, and execute a comprehensive, data-driven global revenue strategy to achieve aggressive top-line growth and significant market expansion. This will involve identifying and prioritizing target markets (e.g., data centers, automotive, AI), developing strategic account plans for key customers, and optimizing pricing strategies to maximize profitability and market share.
  • Lead, manage, and scale global sales, business development, and marketing organizations to achieve and exceed ambitious revenue targets consistently. This will require building a high-performance, collaborative culture, implementing effective sales processes and CRM tools, establishing clear performance metrics, and providing ongoing coaching and development to team members.
  • Identify, cultivate, and negotiate strategic partnerships and alliances with key semiconductor companies, OEMs, foundries, and ecosystem partners to expand market reach, enhance product offerings, and create new revenue streams. Key actions include negotiating complex IP licensing agreements, establishing joint development programs, and managing partner relationships to ensure mutual success.
  • Drive significant market penetration and adoption of Omni Design's IP licensing, SoC solutions, and value-added services across key target markets and customer segments. This will entail developing and executing effective go-to-market strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and leveraging the company's technology to create competitive differentiation.
  • Optimize and refine the company's go-to-market (GTM) strategy, pricing models, and customer acquisition approaches to maximize efficiency and effectiveness. This effort will involve leveraging market research and competitive analysis, implementing data-driven sales and marketing campaigns, and continuously improving the customer journey.
  • Collaborate closely with R&D and product management teams to provide market insights, influence product roadmaps, and ensure that product offerings are aligned with current and future market demands. This collaboration includes identifying emerging customer needs, providing feedback on product features, and participating in product planning sessions.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop accurate revenue forecasting models to track progress, identify trends, and provide regular reports to the executive team and board of directors. Responsibilities include implementing dashboards and reporting tools, analyzing sales data, and providing actionable insights to drive performance improvements.
  • Drive thought leadership and enhanced the company's visibility in the semiconductor industry by actively representing Omni Design at key industry events, conferences, and with analysts. Activities will include presenting at conferences, publishing articles, and building relationships with industry influencers to promote the company's brand and technology.
  • Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and data-driven sales culture focused on exceeding customer expectations and achieving business outcomes. This will involve implementing sales training programs, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring that the sales team is aligned with the company's values and objectives.

Qualifications & Experience
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in the semiconductor industry, with a focus on IP licensing and SoC solutions. A consistent track record of exceeding revenue targets and building high-performing sales organizations at a senior leadership level is essential.
  • Strong preference for experience in both large, established semiconductor companies and high-growth, venture-backed companies.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies, including direct sales, channel partnerships, strategic alliances, and IP licensing models, with a focus on expanding into new markets and customer segments.
  • Deep and current understanding of the semiconductor IP and chiplet landscape, SoC design and manufacturing processes, and key market trends, including advanced nodes (e.g., 5nm, 3nm), emerging technologies (e.g., chiplets, heterogeneous integration), and competitive dynamics.
  • Proven experience building, scaling, and managing global sales, business development, and marketing teams, with a track record of attracting, developing, and retaining top talent.
  • Exceptional executive presence, communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and engage effectively with C-level executives, customers, partners, and industry analysts.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly technical, and dynamic environment. Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand and articulate complex technology solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences are critical.
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field; Masters or other advanced degree is strongly preferred.
