ATS is seeking a results-driven Account Executive to identify, develop, and grow new business opportunities while expanding relationships with existing customers. This role is responsible for selling technology products, professional services, managed services, and staffing solutions to commercial and government organizations throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. What You'll Do

Business Development

  • Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and strategic outreach.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers across commercial, state, local government, education, and enterprise organizations.
  • Develop account strategies that expand ATS's footprint within existing and new customers.
  • Represent ATS at customer meetings, networking events, conferences, and industry functions.

Solution Selling

  • Understand customer business objectives and recommend technology solutions that address their operational and strategic needs.
  • Sell a broad portfolio of technology products and services, including Enterprise infrastructure, End-user computing solutions, Cloud services, Cybersecurity solutions, Professional and managed IT services, IT staffing solutions
  • Collaborate with technical subject matter experts to develop comprehensive customer solutions.

Sales Pipeline Management

  • Manage the complete sales lifecycle from prospecting and qualification through proposal development, negotiation, contract execution, and close.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and customer activity within the company's CRM platform.
  • Prepare customer presentations, proposals, quotations, and statements of work.
  • Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales quotas and revenue objectives.

Customer Success

  • Partner with delivery and operations teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with customers to identify new opportunities and strengthen long-term partnerships.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive market conditions to provide consultative guidance to customers.

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

  • 3-7 years of experience in B2B technology sales, IT staffing, business development, or solution-based selling.
  • Demonstrated success achieving or exceeding sales quotas and revenue targets.
  • Strong prospecting, relationship-building, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to understand customer business challenges and translate technical solutions into business value.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative sales team.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and CRM platforms.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally for customer meetings as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling to State, Local Government, Education (SLED), Federal, or commercial customers.
  • Existing network of contacts within government, education, healthcare, or enterprise organizations.
  • Experience selling enterprise infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, managed services, professional services, or IT staffing solutions.
  • Knowledge of public sector procurement processes and contract vehicles.
  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, ConnectWise, HubSpot, or similar applications.
  • Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
