Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN)
Shift InformationNights 7a-7p
Experience Requirements- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department (ED) setting.
- Previous critical care nursing experience is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS)/Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
The Registered Nurse is a vital member of the patient care team, responsible for delivering direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process. Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing patients upon admission and throughout their stay.
- Administering IV medications, therapies, and blood as necessary.
- Providing patient education and support.
- Documenting nursing care actions, observations, and patient responses.
