Job description

The Account Manager's main responsibility is to manage daily client service needs for a designated book of business within the Fine Art space, including being responsible for service, placement, cross-selling, and business development. This role involves extensive use of system tools and frequent client communication via email or phone. The Account Manager must strictly adhere to corporate procedures, including maintaining data integrity within the system of record. As a key part of the client team, the Account Manager also provides guidance to any third-party vendors managing aspects of the account.

Your Impact

  • Responsible for high volume book of business of the Fine Art Practice's small-mid clients - renewal strategy and execution, prepping and sending submissions, preparing proposals and binders, handling all mid-term requests, invoicing, preparing schedules of insurance, certificates of insurance, reviewing contracts.
  • Remarket existing accounts as client requests or market environment warrants
  • Provide support / assistance to Team Leaders and Producers on new and existing business as directed, including executing coverage analysis for prospective clients, engaging other departments and teammates where applicable; notify clients of coverage gaps or duplications; provide clients with quotations for additional coverages.
  • Cross-Sell other lines of coverage to promote organic growth and round-out needs of clients; coordinate with teammates in other departments as necessary to drive growth
  • Liaise with Fine Art Leaders and Fine Art Claims Specialist for claims, providing assistance with respect to industry practice, policy language, recommendations of adjuster, appraisers, etc.
  • Maintain positive relationships with markets; advise Team Leaders of changes/problems with markets; stay abreast of market changes with respect to pricing, risk appetites, available capacity, position on catastrophic coverages
  • Document all client and carrier communications in agency management system
  • Provide prompt and courteous service by responding to client inquires with 24 hours of receipt
  • Travel for team, company, client and prospecting functions as necessary

Successful Candidate Will Have:

  • Minimum of 2 years property and casualty insurance experience, Fine Art preferred
  • College degree (preferred)
  • Valid P&C Brokers' license
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to follow process and procedures guidance.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to display tact and poise under pressure when working through issues
  • Ability to work efficiently in teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in insurance agency management systems, AMS 360 and Work Smart and Epic preferred

Pay Range:

$51,800 - $85,000 Annual

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for this role.
