Job description

As a Field Service Electronics Technician, you'll troubleshoot, repair, and test repairs at customer sites in our Mobile Product Hospital team.You'll work alongside other technicians and engineers to get to root cause of complex problems while instilling trust with our customers!

As a Field Service Electronics Technician, a typical day might include the following:

  • Test, repair, convert, and troubleshoot problems of high complexity to the component level on SEL products.

  • Develop and maintain knowledge in SEL processes and products to ensure product quality and integrity.

  • Provide basic troubleshooting training to junior department personnel.

  • Partner with other divisions to satisfy the needs of our customers.

This job might be for you if:

  • You have a two-year electronic engineering technology degree or equivalent.

  • You have a strong understanding of analog, digital, and microprocessor-based electronics.

  • You are willing to travel up to 75% of the time.

  • You enjoy working in an electronics lab work environment.

  • You enjoy solving complex problems alongside your team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two years experience in electronic design, manufacturing, or testing.

  • Working knowledge of structured programming.

  • Process improvement experience.

Physical Requirements

  • Lift, push, pull and maneuver up to 20 pounds frequently, and up to 35 pounds occasionally

  • Sit and stand for at least 8 hours

  • Vision correctable to 20/30 or better

  • Ability to differentiate color

  • Use of computer keyboard devices

  • Reach, bend, and twist

Pay Range Data: Field Service Electronics Technician I $32.88 - $48.60 per hour. Field Service Electronics Technician II $35.83 - $52.94 per hour. Electronics Technician III $40.50 - $59.85 per hour. We set starting pay based on job-related factors such as your experience, training, knowledge, and skills. We welcome applicants with a range of experience. Depending on your background, we may consider you for a different level, with compensation aligned accordingly.
