Job description

Allied Seed is headquartered in Nampa, Idaho and currently employs 50 employees (including seasonal workers) nationwide. Allied Seed is part of the GROWMARK system, an agricultural subsidiary serving more than 100,000 customers across North America, Canada, and Mexico. At Allied Seed, our Mission is focused on advancing the forage, turf, and cover crop industry through a value-added pipeline of consistent and high-quality seed.
PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT
Provides a positive customer experience to support brand loyalty. Responsible for customer service functions pertaining to timely processing of orders from receipt to shipment and working with the manufacturing.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Maintains a basic understanding of products and services offered by Allied Seed.
Responsible for sales order entry.
Processes invoices and credits as well as monitors past due invoices.
Provide order updates and tracking to customers.
Answers general questions from sales and customers.
Maintains working knowledge of company ERP system.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
Crosstrain with other Customer Care staff to provide uninterrupted processes.
Ability to work well with other teams to include but not limited to Sales and Operations.
Follows Allied Seed's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program. Environmental Health and Safety, OHSA and DOT policies and procedures as they apply.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Normally requires a college degree in business or the equivalent thereof, and 1+ year of related work experience to demonstrate knowledge of logistics and seed operations.Assist in process improvement discussions, projects, and implementation with other enterprise teams.
Able to read, assimilate, evaluate, and interpret technical data pertaining to production and quality testing.
Demonstrates essential abilities, including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making, and skills development.
Able to actively contribute to all division initiatives
Ability to work overtime as needed
Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on Allied Seed's policies and procedures, and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
