Peach Seed Mental Counseling, LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our remote telehealth team specializing in substance abuse treatment. • Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' substance abuse histories and co-occurring mental health issues.
• Develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that address both addiction and any underlying psychological conditions.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing techniques backed by current research to ensure effective treatment outcomes.
• Collaborate with other treatment team members, including psychiatrists, social workers, and addiction specialists, to deliver integrated care.
• Provide education and support to clients' families, fostering their involvement in the recovery process to enhance client support systems.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and client records in compliance with state and federal regulations, ensuring a high standard of care.

You will work primarily with individuals struggling with substance use disorders, along with those facing co-occurring mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, or trauma-related issues. Your work will help foster personal growth and recovery, equipping clients with the tools necessary to navigate their challenges and thrive in a sober environment.

• A valid license as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD, with a strong commitment to maintaining licensure and continuing education.
• A master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Demonstrated expertise in addiction counseling, with experience in evidence-based practices relevant to substance abuse.
• Excellent therapeutic skills, coupled with the ability to empower and motivate clients towards positive change.
• Superior interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective teamwork and collaboration in a remote setting.

• Previous experience working in a telehealth setting is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with various evidence-based treatment methodologies specific to substance use disorders and mental health.
• Experience providing counseling to diverse populations, understanding the unique cultural and social factors affecting recovery.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and credentials.
