About the Role

Come and See is building a world-class international fundraising capability and were looking for a Senior International Development Director to help lead it. In this role, youll cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of 125+ international major-gift supporters and prospects (gifts of $25K+), with a goal of generating $5M+ in annual philanthropic revenue in support of our mission.

Youll build long-term relationships with supporters across Western Europe, Asia-Pacific, South Africa, and Canada who believe in expanding the reach of the Gospel through The Chosen. Working alongside our Chief Development Officer, Senior Advisor for International Development, Global Ambassadors, and Global Distribution teams, youll turn strategic introductions into sustained philanthropic partnerships.

You love people and are energized by helping supporters connect their resources to Kingdom impact. You understand that you are a bridge between supporters and the mission - and youre equally comfortable sitting across the table from a donor in London, Singapore, Toronto, or Cape Town.


What Youll Do

Fundraising & Donor Solicitation

  • Build and manage a portfolio of 125+ international major-gift supporters and prospects, securing five-, six-, and seven-figure gifts from individuals, families, organizations, and foundations.
  • Meet an annual goal exceeding $5M through major gifts, stock gifts, donor-advised funds, qualified charitable distributions, foundations, and other philanthropic vehicles.
  • Develop donor-centric moves-management plans that advance supporters from introduction to long-term partnership and grow annual giving through intentional stewardship.
  • Coordinate strategic asks involving executive leadership, board members, Global Ambassadors, subject-matter experts, and ministry partners.
  • Own all portfolio stewardship, follow-up, cultivation, solicitation, and donor engagement.

Prospecting & Pipeline

  • Proactively identify and cultivate prospective supporters through networking, referrals, ministry relationships, donor introductions, events, and strategic partnerships.
  • Partner with Global Distribution teams, Equipping Centers, Global Ambassadors, and ministry partners to identify and qualify prospects, and convert opened doors into lasting partnerships.
  • Maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified international prospects, and collaborate with Marketing and Development leadership on bespoke, internationally tailored donor materials.

International Strategy & Growth

  • Support and shape regional fundraising strategies across assigned territories, aligning with Global Distribution priorities, Equipping Center opportunities, and international ministry partnerships.
  • Within the first year, develop recommendations on territory prioritization, international fundraising strategy, staffing needs, and future organizational structure.
  • Deepen relationships with key international giving organizations such as TrustBridge Global and the Maclellan Foundations Giving Together Initiative.
  • Create scalable fundraising playbooks, donor engagement frameworks, and best practices, and help plan an International Vision Summit tied to the release of Season 6 or 7.

Travel & Donor Engagement

  • Develop a travel and meeting strategy across assigned territories, traveling extensively with a minimum of two visits annually to each major region.
  • Accompany executive and ministry leaders on strategic donor visits, vision trips, and international engagements.
  • Facilitate one-on-one meetings, donor experiences, set visits, screenings, and cultivation opportunities.

Serving as a Come and See Ambassador

  • Represent Come and See at donor meetings, events, and international ministry gatherings, connecting supporters with the right leaders and experts at the right time.
  • Shepherd a ministry of generosity among supporters through prayer, encouragement, relationship-building, and spiritual engagement.
  • Be a student of the Come and See mission, The Chosen, and international ministry opportunities, and build strong relationships across Development, Marketing, and Global Distribution.


What You Need to Succeed

Experience & Education

  • 710+ years of direct major-gift fundraising, with proven success securing five-, six-, and seven-figure gifts.
  • Demonstrated success in international major-gift fundraising.
  • Experience in nonprofit, faith-based, or mission-driven organizational development.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Skills & Strengths

  • Highly relational, with the ability to engage supporters across diverse cultural and geographic backgrounds.
  • Proven ability to build and execute donor-centric moves-management strategies.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.

Working Conditions
