Position Summary
We are seeking a professional and reliable Swing Shift Concierge Security Officer to join our team in Evanston. This position is responsible for maintaining a safe and welcoming environment at a commerical property. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, a calm and courteous demeanor, and previous experience in a concierge or front-desk role.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and assist residents, guests, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
  • Enforce access control procedures and monitor visitor management systems
  • Observe, report, and document incidents, safety hazards, or suspicious activity
  • Conduct routine patrols of the property to ensure a secure and orderly environment
  • Maintain situational awareness and respond promptly to emergencies or concerns
  • Adhere to all company policies, post orders, and client procedures
  • Communicate effectively with property management, clients, team members, and contractors
  • Responsibly use company and client-provided equipment for security and monitoring tasks
  • Perform additional duties as required by site management or MFort supervisors

Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be willing to travel to Evanston
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Must have a valid Illinois PERC card and 20-hour security training certificate (or ability to obtain)
  • Minimum 2 year of commerical or front desk security experience
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure
  • Capable of standing and walking for extended periods
  • Able to work independently
  • Must pass a drug screening and background check

Schedule & Compensation:
  • Shift: Friday Saturday and Sunday 3PM-11PM, and Monday Tuesday 11PM-7AM (One Set Schedule)
  • Pay Rate: $19.50/HR
