What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a highly regulated aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts, supervisors, and/or public emergency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, parking locations, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Verify access credentials, monitor entry and exit activity, and support compliance with site access control requirements for sensitive operational and production areas.
  • Maintain a visible presence while following all post orders and armed post protocols, helping to support a professional environment and prompt response to security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:
  • A concealed carry weapons permit is required.
  • A minimum of 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 years of security-related experience is required.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
