Job Description
BS in English, Communications, Technical Writing, or equivalent job experience required
2+ years of experience writing, editing, and planning software documentation.
Technical Writing - Identifies discrete personas to target audience content as appropriate; Uses advanced authoring tools to draft essential user documentation; Employs advanced organization and navigation techniques in all artifacts; Adheres to all policies applicable to document governance and security.
Execution - Elicits SME content to draft complete release artifacts; Uses an advanced workflow to finalize user artifact publications; Executes tasks with nominal supervision
Content and Publication Review - Drafts and submits user content for final editorial and technical review; Executes the iterative workflow and to finalize content for publication; Uses advanced knowledge of tools to prepare publications for delivery.
Presentation and Publication - Drafts, edits, and submits local and cloud-based artifacts to reviewers; Uses local and cloud-based authoring and publication systems.
Plans, develops, and writes operational, process, or release documents for local or cloud-based publication.
Conducts interviews with technical resources to gather data for user documentation.
Uses pre-defined templates to create process, procedure, and reference documents.
Produces artifacts that conform to the company documentation and QA standards.
Typically provides documentation support to a tribe or segment.
Creates multi-format deliverables for both internal and customer audiences.
Participates in agile ceremonies and QA activities as appropriate
