The Test Engineer Level 3 is responsible for supporting software quality assurance activities through the development and execution of test plans and test cases. This role performs both manual and automated testing to validate system functionality, identify defects, and ensure software reliability. The Test Engineer Level 3 documents and tracks issues, develops testing scripts and tools, and contributes to maintaining efficient and repeatable testing processes.Top secret clearance with the ability to obtain a CI Poly is required.
Key Responsibilities Develop and execute test plans and test cases to validate software functionality and system performance. Perform manual and automated testing across various applications and systems. Identify, document, and track defects, bugs, and issues using established tracking tools and processes. Develop, maintain, and improve testing scripts, automation frameworks, and testing tools. Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot issues and verify defect resolution. Support the overall software testing lifecycle, including planning, execution, reporting, and regression testing.
Required Experience Minimum three (3) years of professional experience in software testing or a related quality assurance role. Demonstrated experience developing and executing test plans and test cases. Experience developing, maintaining, and executing testing scripts and automation tools. Familiarity with manual and automated software testing methodologies. Qualifications
