Who You Are:

Versar is currently seeking an Electronic Security System Service Technician to join our team. This position will serve as a service technician for the DLA Columbus Ohio site. Will provide preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance, and other duties/systems as required. Be familiar with the customers specifications for Electronic Security Systems (ESS), Physical Access Control System (PACS), Video Management Systems (VMS), Intrusion Detection System (IDS), and System Network.

What You’ll Do:

  • Be knowledgeable of contract scope as it applies to ESS.
  • Knowledge of customer specifications and standards.
  • Knowledge of customer approved product list.
  • Knowledge of various customer systems integrations and ability to troubleshoot to resolve issues.
  • Serve on call for emergencies service requests.
  • Provide onsite service for all repair, preventive maintenance, inventory and installation-related functions performed under the contract as required.
  • Ability to use a customer provided computerized maintenance management system to provide service updates, inventory and track preventive maintenance.
  • Provide accurate reports and documentation for daily activities to the project manager.

What You’ll Bring:

  • At least 5 years of experience installation/integration, troubleshooting and repair and maintenance related functions of electronic security systems (ESS), video management systems (VMS), intrusion (IDS) and intercom.
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Lenel Certified Professional (minimum requirement)
  • Manufacturers experience on Milestones VMS platforms
  • Must have solid verbal and written reporting experience.
  • Outstanding team working skills are a must.
  • Able to pass extensive gov't background check and drug test.
  • Successful results of pre-employment screenings, including federal background check, and MVR.

Preferred

  • Any Milestone certification (MCIT, MCIE, MCDE)

Compensation

Expected Salary: $65,000- $85,000
