Position Overview:
The Security Systems Regional Sales Manager is responsible for leading the growth and performance of Silcoโ€™s Security Solutions sales team across all branch locations. This role provides strategic leadership for a team of security sales professionals focused on access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, intercom, visitor management, and integrated security solutions.


The ideal candidate is a proven sales leader who can develop people, drive accountability, execute sales strategies, and partner with operations to deliver exceptional customer experiences while achieving revenue and profitability goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the Director of Outside Sales to develop and execute security sales strategies that support company growth objectives.
  • Lead, manage, coach, and develop a team of Security Sales Representatives across multiple markets and branch locations.
  • Establish performance expectations and maintain accountability through regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and field coaching.
  • Build and maintain a high-performance sales culture focused on customer satisfaction, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor sales activity, pipeline development, forecasting, and key performance indicators to ensure team success.
  • Identify new business opportunities, emerging markets, and strategic accounts to expand Silcoโ€™s security footprint.
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, and project management teams to review project opportunities and maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of security technologies including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, intercom systems, visitor management, and integrated security platforms.
  • Train and educate team members on products, applications, sales processes, and industry best practices.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive activity, and emerging technologies.
  • Support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and retention efforts for the security sales team.
  • Exemplify Silcoโ€™s core values and provide coaching and feedback consistent with those values.
  • Innovate and bring new ideas to improve sales effectiveness, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the success of the department and organization.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in electronic security sales, preferably with at least 2 years of sales management experience.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets, growing revenue, and developing high-performing sales teams.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electronic security systems including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, intercom, visitor management, and integrated security solutions.
  • Demonstrated leadership, strategic planning, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple markets, teams, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using CRM platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong business acumen with an understanding of project profitability, forecasting, and sales metrics.
  • Willingness to travel throughout Silcoโ€™s service territory.
