Job Description

Allied Universal is looking to hire a Safety and Security Systems Manager. To support and ensure success in this role, we provide a comprehensive, week-long management onboarding course designed to provide best practices, tools and guidance.

WORK LOCATION: This is a fully remote position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Security systems engineering & lifecycle management — The Systems Manager will serve as the primary technical lead for the design, deployment, configuration, integration, and lifecycle management of CCTV and physical security system infrastructure across global office locations, optimizing system architecture and performance throughout each system's life.
  • Troubleshooting & issue resolution — The Systems Manager will lead troubleshooting and debugging of security systems, resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues with minimal disruption to operations, and will escalate technical blockers and operational gaps to the appropriate stakeholders with recommended solutions.
  • Global standards & office buildout support — The Systems Manager will develop, document, and enforce global standards, specifications, and design guides for physical security systems — including CCTV, access control, and related technologies — and will apply those standards to support security system design for new and renovated facilities.
  • Cross-functional integration — The Systems Manager will partner with IT, facilities, and real estate teams to ensure security systems are seamlessly integrated into office infrastructure.
  • Vendor & integrator management — The Systems Manager will support integrator relationships, including scope-of-work development, performance oversight, and quality assurance for system installations and upgrades.
  • System audits & health checks — The Systems Manager will conduct routine system audits and health checks to verify reliability, compliance with global standards, and alignment with organizational security objectives, and will track, monitor, and report on system performance, project status, and lifecycle milestones to applicable stakeholders.
  • Technical guidance & training — The Systems Manager will provide technical guidance and subject-matter expertise to safety and security personnel and cross-functional teams, and will conduct onboarding and training on system operations, platforms, and standard procedures.

PAY:

  • $155,000 - $158,000/yr.
