Job description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a experienced and dedicated Security, Surveillance, and Access Control Installation & Service Technician to install, maintain, and service security systems, cameras, and access control devices. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to ensuring our clients' safety.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, test, and troubleshoot security, surveillance, and access control systems at client sites
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal system performance
  • Provide technical support and training to clients on system operation
  • Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and installation instructions for proper setup
  • Conduct on-site assessments and recommend security enhancements
  • Maintain accurate records of service calls, installations, and maintenance activities
  • Adhere to safety protocols and company policies during all activities
  • Stay current with industry advancements and new security technologies
Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of experience in security system installation, maintenance, and repair
  • Knowledge of CCTV, video surveillance, access control, alarm systems, and related technologies
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various locations
  • US citizen fluent in English
  • Relevant certifications (Hanwha, DMP, Speco, S2, Galaxy) are a plus
  • Skilled in pulling, terminating, and testing low-voltage cables in compliance with code
  • Experience installing door hardware such as strikes, magnetic locks, and push/panic devices
Work Environment:
  • Fieldwork involves travel to customer sites, including occasional out-of-town jobs requiring overnight stays
  • Physical activity required: lifting up to 75 pounds, climbing ladders, working in confined spaces
  • On-call availability may be necessary based on company needs
