The Senior Manager, Security, advances Walmart’s Global Security Operations Center through scalable security and safety technology solutions. This individual contributor leads cross-functional initiatives, piloting and implementing SaaS platforms while ensuring seamless integrations with Global Tech and enterprise systems. The role drives operational readiness of the GSOC floor by coordinating facilities, vendors, and AV infrastructure to maintain mission-critical uptime. Through strong governance, lifecycle management, and stakeholder alignment, this position delivers measurable outcomes without direct authority. By translating business needs into technical solutions, the Senior Manager strengthens GSOC capabilities, enabling resilient, efficient global security operations.

The Walmart Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) is the central hub for enterprise-wide safety and security, providing real-time monitoring, intelligence, and coordinated responses worldwide. The team combines advanced technology with expert analysis to identify risks early, manage incidents efficiently, and support informed decision-making. GSOC connects teams, systems, and critical information to ensure a proactive and unified approach to protecting people, assets, and operations. This environment emphasizes program management, cross-functional leadership, and continuous process improvement to drive operational excellence and resilience across the enterprise.
What you'll do:
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to enhance GSOC capabilities, delivering measurable outcomes without direct authority
  • Pilot and implement security technologies via POCs, vendor evaluations, and coordinated production rollouts
  • Ensure stakeholder readiness through training, SOPs, UAT, and change management
  • Partner with Walmart Global Tech on solution design, integrations, data flows, and system interoperability
  • Support GSOC floor readiness by managing facilities tickets, vendor access, and AV uptime
  • Oversee deployment and lifecycle of safety, crisis response, and incident management technologies aligned with enterprise standards
  • Drive project governance: define milestones, metrics, and acceptance criteria; report status to leadership
  • Coordinate with Procurement and Legal on SOWs and vendor deliverables

What you'll bring:
  • Proven project leadership across security, safety, and GSOC infrastructure programs, driving outcomes through influence and delivering change across multiple teams
  • Hands-on technical proficiency with enterprise security/safety technologies and SaaS, including tool implementation, platform integration, and vendor collaboration
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues under pressure
  • Operational expertise in GSOC environments, including vendor coordination, AV/video wall support, facilities workflows, and readiness checklists
  • Structured delivery skills: requirements gathering, POCs, runbooks, deployment planning, cutover/backout, and steady-state ownership; clear executive communication
  • Scalable collaboration: trusted partner to Global Tech, facilities, security operations, and procurement; able to translate business needs into technical solutions
