As a Cybersecurity Analyst supporting DFAS, you will play a critical role in defending systems that support national security and essential operations. What You Will Do You will support cybersecurity operations within a Security Operations Center environment by: * Monitoring, detecting, and responding to cybersecurity alerts and incidents in real time * Investigating security events using logs, tool outputs, and intelligence sources * Analyzing threats using advanced tools to identify patterns and attacker intent * Responding to incidents and working to prevent recurrence through root cause analysis * Supporting recovery efforts by assessing impact and restoring affected systems * Following escalation processes and coordinating with team members to resolve issues quickly * Preparing reports and documentation to communicate findings and actions taken * Recommending improvements to strengthen security posture and operational effectiveness * Collaborating with team members to mitigate threats and maintain continuous operations Required Qualifications * Active Top Secret/SCI clearance * High School Diploma or GED * DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification * CSSP Analyst certification * Experience supporting DoD information systems * Ability to support 24/7 operations through a shift-based schedule * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently Preferred Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related field * DoD 8570 IAT Level III certification * Experience with DoD STIGs, SRGs, and system hardening guidance * Familiarity with ESS, ACAS, and DoD SIEM platforms * Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment What's In It for You At Allyon, your compensation goes beyond salary.
