Unarmed Security Officer

Elite Investigations is seeking experienced and reliable Security Officers to join our growing team in the San Juan, PR area.As a Security Officer, you will be held to above-quality standards as a server of our surrounding communities. Being a Security Officer, you must attain exceptional customer service skills, while striding in your confident presence with our clients. You must also have the ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly, effectively, and efficiently. As a Security Officer with our company, you will be responsible for initiating and completing daily reports in addition to reporting any emergencies. As a talented team member, you will command a high-standing presence when posted at our sites.

Your current duties include but are not limited to, the responsibilities detailed below.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter theft
  • Communicate constantly with the manager on duty regarding any suspicious activity
  • Implement loss prevention strategies and procedures to minimize risk
  • Monitor and respond to alarms to detect potential theft
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with inquiries or concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of asset protection procedures and protocols
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing and conflict management
  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally
  • Attention to detail and strong observation skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Ability & willingness to work outside in subtropical climate, adverse weather & hazardous conditions.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must possess a valid active Guard License
  • Must have a valid Driver's License
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
