Job description

EDUCATION:Minimum HS Diploma or GED• Work Schedule: From 32 to 40 hours weekly. This is normally an 8 hour shift work day, but there may be overtime as needed. In this position you can be flexible with the schedule and the time borrowed, as agreed with the person and their university commitments.

Responsibilities:

PR - Agricultural Intern (GUANICA / SABANA GRANDE)• Job Objectives: Give ample exposure to the daily activities of the programs and activities that are managed at the Guánica station. Participate in all aspects of seed testing, research and increasing activities. This includes planting, field maintenance, data collection, harvesting, and material handling.• Essential Functions: It must collaborate in the programs of increase and tests of seeds of different crops. Therefore, it is able to help in field operations such as planting preparation, field monitoring, agronomic activities, harvesting and seed handling including drying, conditioning, shelling, getting involved in all tasks until shipment. In addition, it will collect data, and provide reports as necessary to maintain records to aid decision-making. In addition to providing documentation in advance such as maps, monitoring, etc... to detail everything that happens on the site. Maintain a dedication and effort in maintaining the regulatory compliance of the company at the site.
Pay Details: $14.00 per hour
