Job description

Shifts: 1st and 2nd Shift available
POSITION SUMMARY
The Materials Handler will perform tasks associated with the material handling process at RealTruck, including receiving materials, stocking, and inventory control, primarily using powered industrial trucks.
CORE FUNCTIONS
โ€ข Load and unload raw materials from trailers; verifies accuracy against PO and packing slip.
โ€ข Receive material deliveries, verifies items and quantities to PO, and acquires proper paperwork.
โ€ข Efficiently moves materials to and from point of use, ensuring product quality is maintained.
โ€ข Responsible for accurate takeaways or replacements of racks and totes.
โ€ข Ensure product is properly labeled with part number, name, and quantity; rotates stock as needed.
โ€ข Receive returned product; verifies warranty status; updates WMS; prepares product for disposal or return to stock.
โ€ข Maintain accurate inventory; conducts cycle counts; transfers product in system; investigates and resolves variances.
โ€ข Train other employees, maintain a clean and safe workspace, other duties as assigned.
โ€ข Operate a company vehicle in accordance with established traffic and transportation procedures and laws.
โ€ข Communicate effectively with all departments and supervisors/leads.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience
โ€ข High School Diploma or GED preferred.
โ€ข 6-12 months of related experience and/or training required.
โ€ข 2-5 years of related experience and/or training preferred.
โ€ข Previous forklift experience preferred.
Required Licenses
โ€ข Driver's license.

โ€ข Skilled in the operation of powered industrial trucks, pallet jack, tape gun.
โ€ข Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
โ€ข Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
โ€ข Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work instructions, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
โ€ข Ability to count and perform basic math.
โ€ข Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
