Job description

Secureone Security Services is seeking to hire a Security Field Supervisor (FS). The Field Supervisor is responsible for branch operations during non-business hours, inspection of officers in the field, training and operational support of the branch.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES:

  • Leadership skills to provide direction to the Field Officers and assist with areas of responsibility as needed back-up response to Patrol as needed
  • Provide Field Support for all patrols of the sites and inspections of assigned personnel
  • Effectively manage, motivate, coach and formally evaluate the performance of all assigned staff and officers.
  • Assist with the development of the Field Support Competency Tasks and training plans to include tracking the effectiveness of all Field Support
  • Assist with the development and implementation of measurement and evaluation tools for efficiency, accuracy, timeliness, and costs/benefits of each area of responsibility
  • Make recommendations for the creation, modification, and updating of policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines as they relate to the Field Support and Patrol group.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of controls for accurate and timely patrol and alarm response activities.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to confirm Field Support and Patrol Officers' compliance with, Alarm Response requirements and all other job duties.
  • Respond to incidents in the field proactively and in response to requests for assistance from any Secureone Security Manager, Supervisor, Assigned Agent/Officer and Client. Coordinate the proper response and internal notifications as appropriate.
  • Continually review all aspects of the Field Support for potential improvement and profitability.
  • Ability to effectively communicate within all levels of the organization and client operations.
  • Excellent conceptual and critical thinking skills, present ideas in a clear and compelling manner with strict attention to detail.
  • Emotionally intelligent with excellent people skills and ability to develop and manage successful business relationships with clients and prospective clients.
  • Strong personal presence, credibility and high integrity.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Must possess a valid security license as required in the state for which you are applying.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of progressive security experience.
  • Have the ability to be trained and certified in an Armed capacity.
  • As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test.
  • As a condition of continued employment, employee must maintain current active status of all required License at all times, and must carry the license at all times while on duty.
  • Must display exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills to utilize innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bi-lingual a plus (Spanish)
  • College degree (Associates and above)
  • 3+ years of security experience
  • 2-3+ years of supervisory/managerial experience.
