This Developer is responsible for architecting and developing security solutions as needed. You must be able to pick up new languages and technologies quickly, be a strong team player, and rapidly adapt to changing business and customer demands. The ideal candidate will have experience building applications that rely on multiple web services and that operate at scale (millions of users). Innovation is a big part of the role as well as mentoring/coaching junior members of the technical staff.
Core Responsibilities
Responsible for the software development of security component(s) for products and systems
Subject Matter Expert (SME) in building, optimizing, and implementing secure reusable code and libraries
Help identify gaps and enhances the existing platforms to provide a secure experience for our customers.
Evaluates new and upcoming technologies and makes recommendations for adoption to extend the products current capability.
Performs secure development, quality assurance (QA), and DevOp roles as needed to ensure total end-to-end responsibility of solutions
Performs operational troubleshooting as needed to support developed products.
Participates in code reviews and performs static code analysis on developed code.
Required Experience
Must have a solid understanding of software development, from design and architecture through securing components in production
Experience and/or interest in Test Driven Development (TDD), Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and agile methodologies
Experience with open source frameworks
Fluency and understanding of multiple High-Level, System programming languages for large scale analysis
Experience in using DevOps tools to automate the build and deployment of Applications
Good understanding of testing tools
