Java Security Developer

Alpharetta Role: Java Security Developer Rate for contract: 60/hr Fulltime: 100K/Annum Location: Alpharetta, GA (Need to relocate after Covid) Skills: Primary/Core Skill Sets: Java 8, Spring, jQuery, Jenkins pipeline and Linux Shell/bash scripts. Secondary skill: EJB, JSP, basic application security knowledge.

Job Description: As a java security developer, the person is expected to check the security vulnerabilities and able to fix the issues based on the recommendation provided. The changes should be reviewed and committed.

Roles & Responsibilities: The person should able to access the list of application vulnerabilities that are resulted as part of various security scans and able to check the remediation for the issues and able to fix them. To able to fix, person should have expertise in Java 1.8, Spring MVC, REST/SOAP APIs, JSPs, EJB, HTML, JS. The role of the person would be a typical developer, who makes code changes and build the code base and test it. Linux knowledge is an additional advantage
