About You
You're a detail-driven security design professional with a strong engineering mindset and hands-on experience developing and managing physical security design documents - drawings, specifications, and coordinated deliverables. You balance technical rigor with clear communication, ensuring consistent, high-quality results. You enjoy problem-solving, mentoring others, and continuously improving design processes. You work well independently but collaborate seamlessly with cross-disciplinary teams

Responsibilities
  • Development of design documents, drawings, and specifications for access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and related systems
  • Serve as the Design Manager on projects
  • Provide input on improvement of ADRM client design standards
  • Effectively manage multiple projects of varying size and duration through completion
  • Develop project construction documents and security scope of work and manage these documents through the project cycle
  • Manage client expectations and Security Integrator deliverables
  • Coordinate across disciplines (civil, architectural, electrical, etc.) to ensure all design packages are fully integrated with current security scope - including elements such as fences, gates, door hardware, and conduit pathways
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or better in related field preferred
  • Demonstrated, current working knowledge of data center environments, including security system design and coordination across disciplines
  • Ability to perform within a fast moving and complex environment
  • 4+ required years of experience in security system design
  • Demonstrated experience in creating or managing the detailed creation of physical security engineering design documents, drawings and specifications
  • Working knowledge of relevant laws and codes impacting security design and implementation
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Proficient with Bluebeam Revu, AutoCAD and Revit application and tools
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team oriented collaborative environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to travel occasionally as needed for site or team coordination
  • Hard working and dedicated to absolute customer satisfaction
  • Ability to maintain professional and positive behavior
  • Ability to focus for long periods of time
  • Ability to walk long distances during site visits and commissioning
  • Able to pass a comprehensive background check and integrity interview
