  • We are seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Security Design Architect/ Expert to join our Cybersecurity Services team. As a member of our centralized Center of Excellence, you'll play a crucial role in enhancing our firm's security posture and protecting critical assets. You'll contribute to our security strategy and architecture, driving and synchronizing security strategies with technology and business priorities. This is a unique opportunity to provide security solutions, designs, and architecture guidance across the entire organization, ensuring all decisions consider both direct and indirect impacts on our firm's integrity.

The Role
  • You will be responsible for providing security solutions, designs, architecture guidance, and support across the entire organization. This includes contributing to the secure design and implementation of on-premise and cloud security controls for hundreds of business IT projects. You'll work closely with other engineering teams to design, document, and deploy secure solutions globally, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all data.

Responsibilities
  • Secure Design & Implementation: Perform secure design reviews and implement on-premise and cloud security controls for various IT projects.
  • Collaboration: Partner with Domain Architects and Product Managers to define security requirements and secure deployment patterns.
  • Architecture & Strategy: Clarify architecture for development teams, provide solution options for architectural impediments, and contribute to best practices, standard templates, and the architecture roadmap for security domains.
  • Risk Assessment: Review, assess, and provide sign-off on projects based on risk and adherence to security policies, standards, and best practices.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Work with business and technology teams to interpret business and threat drivers to develop practical security capabilities.
  • Design Review: Perform design reviews to ensure all non-functional requirements (e.g., security, performance, scalability) are met.

Qualifications
Required
  • A four-year college/university degree is required.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in designing, building, and managing security infrastructure or solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience with multiple security domains, including a broad knowledge of security foundations.
  • Experience with security architecture reviews and security controls across IAM, Data Protection, Application Security, Network Security, and Security Analytics.
  • A detailed understanding of security domains with the ability to document risks, evaluate remediation options, and present results to technical and executive-level audiences.
  • Proven ability to work flexibly within changing situations and with various individuals and groups.

Preferred
  • Experience with AI security.
  • Experience with the assessment, development, implementation, and optimization of a comprehensive set of security technologies in on-premise, public, and private cloud environments.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise security concepts/frameworks and products, secure design principles, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST 800-53, CIS Benchmarks, ISO 27000 series, and COBIT.
  • CISSP or CSSLP certifications are a plus.
