Basic Qualifications: · IAT II or higher certification, must have Sec+ CE or equivalent. · VMWare Certified Professional (VCP) or VMWare equivalent · 8+ years combined experience Planning, Deploying, and Hardening VMWare infrastructure · Top Secret (SSBI T5) DOD Clearance required • Managing day to day operations of Hyper converged infrastructure (HCI) consisting of VMWare ESXi Servers, virtual Windows servers, Horizon VDI environments. • Must have 8+ years of experience in VMWare (Broadcom) and Horizon View (Omnissa). • Serve as a subject matter expert for system infrastructure projects to Plan, Deploy, and Harden Enterprise Services across multiple systems. • Ensure system compliance with Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) regulations, Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), and Vulnerability Management Programs. • Provide expert knowledge and support for all aspects of system and virtual infrastructure configuration and management. • Participate in project planning and execution in a hybrid-agile environment, potentially assuming the role of project lead as needed. • Analyze the IT environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement. • Coordinate with other IT team members and stakeholders, ensuring the successful completion of projects on time and within budget. • Perform routine system maintenance, troubleshooting, and problem resolution. • Document all system configurations, changes, and procedures to maintain an up-to-date knowledge base. • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, enhancing their understanding and skills in system engineering and management.
