The Electro Optical Infrared Systems (EOIS) line of business within DRS has locations in Dallas and Austin, TX, Melbourne, FL, and Cypress, CA.  EOIS develops, manufactures, and supports infrared and electro-optical solutions for soldiers, ground vehicles and airborne platforms.  We offer an exciting and challenging work environment, a competitive salary and benefits package, and a business culture that rewards performance.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist with and executes administration of routine aspects of the Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Energy, (DoE) or other industrial security program to ensure compliance with government and company security policies and procedures
  • Conduct typical security operations to include physical access to buildings, room, couriers, clearances, packages, documentation and debriefings
  • Monitor security procedures; ensures compliance with all aspects of the program including personnel, physical and administrative security systems and procedures
  • May conduct security briefings and maintains security education programs
  • Assist in gathering information for investigations into losses and security violations
  • Ensure destruction of classified and/or confidential information in accordance with policies and procedures
  • Assist in revision of procedures manuals and may interface with outside agencies
  • May serve as Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO) at smaller Defense Security Service-cleared facilities 
  • Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree or equivalent industrial or physical security training
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with peers and other DRS functions
  • Must have excellent attention to detail and accurate record-keeping skills
  • Must be able to interpret current government regulations and procedures
  • Must have the ability to work well with customers, peers, and management
  • Must have good time management skills
  • Must excellent experience with the Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint

U.S. Citizenship required. This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
