Position Summary

This position serves as the initial security point of contact for MultiCare hospitals and clinics in areas where higher level security officers are not deployed. This is a non-clinical position assigned to security department and responsible for initial security assessment of people coming into the hospital and to serve as a professional security presence.
Duties include greeting patients, visitors, performing initial security assessment and determining the business reason for entering the hospital/clinic and providing courteous assistance and directions. This is an entry level position requiring excellent customer service skills. It is highly visible, requiring discretion, good judgment, a pleasant and professional manner and articulate. Has internal and external contacts.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Security experience preferred but not required

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $18.94 - $27.26 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
