HR Systems is part of Medavie Operations. Our team supports modern HR and payroll systems that enable frontline healthcare operations and drive digital transformation across the organization.

As a Senior Workday Security Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and security of our Workday HCM platform. You will work closely with HR, Payroll, Benefits, and IT teams to configure security, manage access controls, and support compliance initiatives.

As Senior Workday Security Analyst, Key Responsibilities Include:

Collaboration

  • Building strong relationships across HR, Payroll, Benefits, and IT to ensure security aligns with business needs.

  • Acting as a trusted advisor on Workday security best practices.

  • Partnering with stakeholders to support secure and efficient HCM processes.

Security Administration

  • Configuring and maintaining Workday security roles, groups, and domain/business process security policies.

  • Implementing role-based, user-based, intersection, and segment-based security groups.

  • Conducting regular audits and access reviews to ensure compliance and data integrity.

  • Responding to operational security requests and troubleshooting access issues.

  • Validating security configurations during Workday release cycles.

  • Maintaining comprehensive documentation of security policies and audit logs.

HCM & Compliance

  • Ensuring security supports key HCM processes such as hiring, terminations, and benefits enrollment.

  • Aligning security with Canadian HR and payroll compliance requirements.

Communication

  • Preparing clear documentation and security guidelines.

  • Presenting recommendations and findings to stakeholders.

Organization and Time Management

Senior Workday Security Analyst Key Qualifications:

  • College diploma or bachelor's degree.

  • 4-6 years of experience in Workday security administration and HCM configuration.

  • Strong knowledge of Workday security framework (domain, business process, and integration security).

  • Familiarity with Workday HCM modules (Core HCM, Benefits, Absence, Time Tracking).

  • Working knowledge of EIBs for controlled data exchange.

  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills.

  • Certifications such as Workday Pro Security and Workday HCM Core are considered assets.

  • Experience with Workday reporting and calculated fields for security audits is an asset.

Pay Range:

$82,647 - $101,013
