About the Security Analyst Coordinator Position:
During the internship as a Security Analyst Coordinator at Avalon Healthcare Solutions, you will support various projects and initiatives while gaining valuable industry experience. You will work closely with the Cloud Security team members, contribute to day-to-day operations, and be given opportunities to learn and grow in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about securing IT systems, analyzing data for security threats and will think "hacker like" to identify possible security gaps.

This is a Parttime position.

Key Responsibilities for this Internship Opportunity:

  • Review Sumologic Signals to reduce False Positive Detections
  • Work with Crowdstrike
  • Analyze data
  • Assist with daily operations and administrative tasks
  • Conduct research and compile reports
  • Support project planning and execution
  • Collaborate with team members on various assignments
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions
  • Provide general support to the department as needed

Qualifications for this Internship Opportunity:

  • Must live in Tampa, Florida to attend onsite meetings as required
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelorโ€™s or Masterโ€™s program (or a recent graduate)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
