Job description

Information Security Systems Analyst

Under the direction of the Chief Information Security Officer, the Information Security Systems Analyst will assist with day-to-day security event monitoring and the operational integrity of the organization's information security systems and processes, and assist with the creation of operational dashboards, employee training, and reporting of key information security performance indicators and metrics. The Information Security Systems Analyst will also work with other information security bureau team members to respond to incident escalations, assist with compliance, and information security controls testing projects.

This position requires a bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field, and a minimum of 1 year of work experience in technology support, incident response, event handling, or related experience. The one-year experience requirement can be waived for applicants with a graduate degree in cybersecurity or a related technical field and with documented internship or in-school project experience. Moderate knowledge regarding current cybersecurity trends, threat actor techniques, and governance frameworks such as NIST CSF or CIS is highly desired.

Ability to effectively coordinate, prioritize, and collaborate along with outstanding written and verbal communication skills is required along with attendance and the ability to maintain satisfactory working relationships with OAG employees and the general public.

Position requires in office attendance.
