Job description

Litigation Secretary

HERS Advisors has partnered with a national labor & employment law firm who has an immediate need for a Litigation Secretary in their Orange County, CA office (hybrid).

Requirements for Litigation Secretary:

  • High school diploma or GED required; college degree is preferred, but not required
  • 5+ years of experience as a litigation legal secretary required
  • Labor/employment experience is required
  • Ability to accurately format documents in accordance with firm standards for format, style and quality, including table of contents and table of authorities
  • State and federal court filing experience (manual and electronic)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of State and Federal filing procedures (e.g., Pacer, ECF)
  • Technical Skills: Strong skills in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint; iManage (or other comparable document management system), CompuLaw; Aderant knowledge is a plus
