Job description

Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Operations Manager, this position provides clerical and secretarial support for the UT Campus. In addition to answering phones, performs duties such as typing, filing, ordering supplies and working with highly confidential information.
Essential Functions
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.
  • Greet walk in customers and answer telephones in a kind, courteous and professional manner.
  • Take out pre liens on all projects done in UT and own the process.
  • Take and enter payments received from walk in customers, by telephone, or in the mail and prepare bank deposits as needed.
  • Direct walk in and telephone traffic to the appropriate personnel for Truss Sales. This position does not include salesmen skills and all such traffic will be directed accordingly.
  • Retrieve, sort and distribute daily mail as well as mailing items as needed.
  • Create and deliver customer estimates and invoices as directed.
  • Maintain supply of office supplies and hangars by taking regular inventory and placing timely orders.
  • Assist HR and Finance Directors with miscellaneous duties.
  • Filing as needed.
  • Light cleaning and dusting weekly in the reception area

Physical Demands
This role is largely sedentary; however, it requires the ability to lift files or file boxes, bending or standing as needed and walking on concrete floors to and from work areas or other offices. Must be able to function on fast paced demand.
