Maintenance Supervisor 2nd Shift

Ready to lead a dynamic maintenance team in a thriving food manufacturing environment? This is your opportunity to oversee daily maintenance operations, ensure equipment reliability, and uphold the highest standards of safety and compliance-all while enjoying a competitive compensation package that recognizes your skills and dedication.

In this critical role, you will supervise, mentor, and coordinate the efforts of maintenance technicians across multiple shifts, ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently. You'll oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities, troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, and collaborate closely with production, quality, and sanitation teams to uphold food safety standards such as GMPs, HACCP, and SQF. Your leadership will support continuous improvement initiatives, cost-saving opportunities, and successful execution of facility upgrades and projects.

Required Skills:

  • 3-5+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, food industry preferred
  • 1-3+ years in supervisory or lead technician roles
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, PLC, and automation knowledge
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations (GMPs, HACCP, SQF)
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
  • Flexibility to work weekends or on-call rotations
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs; comfortable working in varied temperature environments

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience with capital projects, equipment installation, or process improvements
  • Knowledge of refrigeration and utility systems
  • Bilingual abilities or additional certifications in maintenance or safety

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or degrees in maintenance, engineering, or related fields are a plus
  • Proven track record in a food or beverage manufacturing setting
