Position Overview
The Bank Wires Representative is responsible for supporting daily Wire Transfer and Foreign Exchange (FX) processing within the Electronic Payments team, while providing backup support for ACH services as needed. In this role, the Representative will process domestic and international funds transfers, verify transaction details, and ensure compliance with financial regulations, while delivering exceptional service to both internal and external customers.
Essential Job Functions
• Process daily Wire Transfer and Foreign Exchange (FX) transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Provide backup support for ACH services as needed.
• Verify transactions are properly approved and document exceptions for audit purposes.
• Review and resolve incoming wires that do not auto-post.
• Balance daily wire logs.
• Follow bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to electronic payment processing.
• Partner with internal teams and external customers to deliver high-quality service.
• Collaborate with BSA and Fraud teams as needed.
• Review OFAC queues to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Process Reg E/Remittance claims within required rules and timelines.
• Support additional duties as assigned by the Electronic Payments Manager.
Minimum Requirements
• High school diploma (or equivalent) and one or more years of banking or related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Competencies
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability.
• Strong computer application proficiency.
• Ability to work effectively with others in a team environment.
Preferred, but not required
• Prior experience in wires and ACH

Location Details
This position requires the incumbent to work onsite (37 S. River Street, Aurora, IL) on a daily basis to perform the regular responsibilities of the role.
Compensation & Benefits
Base pay: $20.50 - $27.50
