Job description

Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician at our Capital Blvd (CPO) site in Raleigh, NC.
The pay rate for this position is $24 per hour.
Core hours are 6:00am - 2:30pm

What you'll do:
The Maintenance Technician will work closely with production teams to support initiative including line set up and relocation, equipment modifications and repairs and preventative maintenance.
In this role:
• You will troubleshoot equipment and make necessary repairs.
• You will record and schedule preventative maintenance.
• You will requisition parts, materials, labor and support to complete job tasks.
• You will fabricate replacement parts as needed for machinery.
• You will lead and manage special project as required.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED required from an accredited educational institution.
• Minimum of 5 years maintenance experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
• Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Only candidates in the immediate geographical area (50-mile radius) will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Welding experience and / or certifications
• Hazardous waste management / Hazardous waste operations emergency response
• Knowledge of electrical systems and devices
• Lock Out / Tag Out Certified
• HVAC training and / or certifications
• Basic working knowledge and experience with computers
Skills:
Position Criteria:
• Ability to demonstrate working knowledge of the mechanical, electrical, and safety procedures of a manufacturing facility.
• Ability to work daily and/or weekend overtime, willingness to flex to different areas or local plants as needed
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to climb a ladder.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Repetitive lifting, bending, and squatting is inherent to this position.
