What are some common challenges faced by team members working in a Second Chance Program, and how can they be addressed?

Team members in a Second Chance Program often encounter challenges such as building trust with participants who may have experienced trauma, managing diverse needs, and navigating limited resources. Success in this role typically involves strong communication skills, patience, and a collaborative approach with colleagues such as social workers, counselors, and community partners. Regular training, supportive supervision, and peer debriefings are important to maintain staff well-being and ensure effective service delivery. Emphasizing empathy and adaptability helps staff create a supportive environment where participants feel empowered to make positive changes.

What is a Second Chance Program?

A Second Chance Program is an initiative designed to help individuals with criminal records, or those who have faced significant barriers in their past, re-enter the workforce or society. These programs often provide job training, education, counseling, and support services to help participants rebuild their lives and attain stable employment. Employers and organizations that participate in Second Chance Programs aim to reduce recidivism and promote social reintegration by offering meaningful opportunities for individuals seeking a fresh start.

How can I make $2000 a week working from home?

A Second Chance Program typically offers employment opportunities that may include remote work, but earning $2000 weekly from home generally requires roles with high pay rates such as freelance consulting, specialized customer service, or sales positions. Success depends on skills, experience, and the ability to secure multiple clients or high-paying contracts, often involving strong communication and self-management skills.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Second Chance Program Coordinator, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Second Chance Program Coordinator, you need a background in social work, counseling, or criminal justice, often with a relevant degree or certification. These competencies are crucial for effectively guiding individuals toward successful reintegration and reducing recidivism.

At Daman Products, precision isn't just what we do - it's who we are. As we continue to grow and invest in our operations, we're looking for skilled CNC Machinists who can own their process, take pride in setup work, and thrive in a high-performance environment.
If you're ready to step into a role where your expertise is valued and your impact is visible - this is it.
Shift
2nd or 3rd Shift (Off-Shift Opportunity)
  • 2nd Shift Hours: 3PM - 11PM
    • Monday - Friday with some Saturday work as needed.
  • 3rd Shift Hours: 11PM - 7AM
    • Sunday - Thursday with some Friday work as needed.

Pay Range
$25 - $35/hour (based on experience and capability) plus Shift Differential ($2.50/HR).
What You'll Do
  • Perform full setup and operation of CNC mills (lathe experience also valued)
  • Read and interpret blueprints, prints, and GD&T to produce precision components
  • Select tooling, set offsets, and dial in programs to meet tight tolerances
  • Conduct in-process inspections using precision measuring equipment
  • Troubleshoot and make adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency
  • Partner with engineering and quality teams to continuously improve processes
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace

What You Bring
  • Proven experience with CNC setup (mills preferred, lathes welcome)
  • Strong blueprint reading and tolerance understanding
  • Confidence using micrometers, calipers, and gauges
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of your machine
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic

What Sets You Apart
  • Multi-axis machining experience
  • Background in tight-tolerance industries (hydraulics, aerospace, defense) is a plus
  • CNC programming or editing experience

Short-Term Incentive (STI) Program
We believe performance should be rewarded - and we make it meaningful.
Our Quarterly STI Program provides a target payout of 5%, with the opportunity to earn between 0% and 10% based on both company performance and your individual contributions. Bonus is paid on gross earnings in each quarter. The more the work the more you earn.

  • Modern Shop - Clean facility with advanced equipment
  • Competitive Benefits - Industry Leading Health & 401k retirement, PTO, and more
  • Real Opportunity - Build a long-term career, not just a job
