About Us Westside Concepts opened the first Haymaker restaurant in 2013 in Peoria, AZ. Since then, we have opened 10 more locations, of which we have multiple concepts, including our newest, Haymaker Verrado. We have grown our catering department to be a fun and unique business in itself. While the concepts are all very different, the goal is the same: to be your neighborhood bar or restaurant where you can feel great about bringing family and friends for any and all occasions. We continue to strive to create the highest quality of food as well as unforgettable guest experiences.

Our Kitchen Managers cultivate and maintain the high standards of food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and efficiency of our kitchens. At The Haymaker, our kitchen is the source of our passion and where we endeavor to truly 'Wow' our guests. We are a constantly growing brand under the leadership of an excellent Culinary Director whose vision for the future presents us with new opportunities to create new and seasonal dishes in an effort to develop an exciting environment for our team and guests.
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about food, take pride in their work, and are willing to go the extra mile of our guests and our teams. The Kitchen Managers at The Haymaker are well versed in food costing, managing labor, product freshness and quality, coaching and developing culinary team members, following prep recipes and plating standards, efficient in ordering and inventory maintenance, and communicating any needs, issues, or concerns with the Regional Executive Chef and Culinary Director.

All members of our management teams are strong leaders dedicated to the success of each restaurant. We work as a team with open communication to ensure smooth operations.
Your duties will include
- Food Quality and Excellence
- Maintenance of Food Cost and Labor Goals
- Safe food handling and food safety knowledge
- Act as a role model
- Hold team members accountable
- Coach and develop culinary team
- Menu, prep, and line build knowledge
- Follow Operational Systems and SOPs
- Strong teamwork culture
- Responsible cash and card handling
- Must be available nights & weekends
- Cultivate open communication between managers and team members alike
- Interview, hire, & train team members to take on larger roles Other job duties as assigned
Experience
- Minimum 3-year kitchen management experience in a high-paced restaurant
- Strong multitasking skills
