Seasonal Construction Project Manager-Superintendent

Delaware Valley Paving is a national parking lot construction and maintenance company serving commercial and industrial clients across the country. As a family-owned organization, we are committed to developing our people, strengthening leadership, and delivering consistent, high-quality results through disciplined processes and a strong company culture, Currently we are seeking experienced Project Managersin several regions across the country with a strong background in asphalt paving and concrete construction. This role is responsible for leading projects from pre-construction planning through completion, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget expectations are met. The ideal candidate is a hands-on field leader who can effectively manage crews, subcontractors, and client relationships while maintaining high standards of workmanship. This position requires significant (up to 9 months a year) of travel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of construction projects from planning through implementation
  • Allocate labor, equipment, and materials for assigned projects
  • Supervise onsite personnel, subcontractors, and field operations
  • Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, and clients
  • Negotiate with contractors and vendors to secure fair and reasonable change order costs
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship aligned with plans, specifications, and company expectations
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful completion
  • Travel regularly to different job sites to support field operations and project execution
Qualifications

5+ years of field leadership experience preferred

Proven experience in construction management and/or asphalt paving or concrete construction

Willingness and ability to travel to active job sites

Strong professional communication skills (internal teams, clients, vendors)

Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities

Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills

Deadline-driven with strong attention to detail
