About JLUXLABEL

JLUXLABEL is a Los Angeles-based women's fashion brand creating elevated, trend-driven styles designed for the modern woman. As a fast-growing e-commerce company, we're passionate about delivering beautiful products, moving quickly, and building a collaborative team that loves fashion as much as we do.

We're looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Associate Product Developer to join our Product Development team. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside Design, Technical Design, and Production to bring collections from concept to reality. If you're passionate about product development, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and love seeing your ideas come to life, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

As an Associate Product Developer, you'll play a key role in managing the development process from concept through production while ensuring every product meets JLUXLABEL's standards for quality, fit, cost, and design.

In this role, you'll:

  • Manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) throughout the development process using our PLM system.
  • Attend fit sessions and assist in approving fabrics, trims, linings, packaging, and color ways.
  • Help source and develop fabrics, trims, prints, embellishments, and materials that align with our brand aesthetic and target costs.
  • Track product development timelines, prototypes, and sample progress from concept through production.
  • Organize incoming samples for fittings and provide clear development feedback to technical design and vendor partners.
  • Assist with product costing and collaborate with Production to identify opportunities for cost savings while maintaining quality.
  • Partner closely with Design, Technical Design, Production, vendors, and overseas factories to ensure projects stay on schedule.
  • Coordinate seasonal color ways, print developments, and artwork approvals across multiple product categories.
  • Manage and maintain both physical and digital fabric, trim, and print libraries within our PLM system.
  • Research emerging fashion trends, fabrics, silhouettes, and market opportunities to support future collections.
  • Create inspiration boards and contribute ideas that help keep JLUXLABEL on the forefront of fashion.

What We're Looking For

  • 1+ year of experience in fashion product development, fashion design, or a related role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
  • Experience working with fashion brands, preferably within an e-commerce environment.
  • Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, trims, color development, and the product lifecycle.
  • Experience using PLM software.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence collaborating with cross-functional teams and overseas vendors.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • A passion for fashion, trend research, and creating exceptional products.

  • 401(k) with company matching
  • Employee apparel discount
  • Monthly catered lunches
  • Employee wellness initiatives, including on-site spa services and fitness activities
  • Fun company events, celebrations, and team outings
  • Collaborative, creative office environment
  • Opportunities for growth and professional development
  • Work with a passionate team that's shaping the future of fashion e-commerce
