Job description

Seasonal Pool Monitor

We are seeking a reliable and attentive seasonal pool monitor to help ensure a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for residents and guests at our community pool. This role is ideal for individuals who are observant, customer-focused, and enjoy working outdoors during the summer season. Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring pool area to ensure compliance with all community rules and safety guidelines
  • Greeting residents and guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Checking resident credentials and enforcing guest policies
  • Maintaining cleanliness of pool deck, furniture, and surrounding areas
  • Reporting any maintenance issues, safety concerns, or incidents promptly
  • Responding calmly and effectively in emergency situations and following proper procedures
  • Ensuring pool capacity limits are observed, if applicable
  • Using proper safety precautions at all times
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs and climbing ladders to various heights may be required
  • Helping at other properties when deemed necessary
  • May be asked to assist Maintenance and/or Manager with other jobs as deemed necessary by management

Qualifications include:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to remain alert and focused for extended periods
  • Dependable, punctual, and professional demeanor
  • Previous experience in customer service, security, or pool monitoring is a plus
