  • Position Overview
    We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Pool Cleaner / Valet Technician to join our team for the seasonal pool service period. This role involves performing routine pool cleaning, water chemistry balancing, equipment inspections, and customer service support. The ideal candidate will be punctual, safety-conscious, and able to deliver excellent service to our customers.
    Key Responsibilities
    • Read all notes on tickets prior to leaving for the day and prepare for the route
    • Upon arrival, ring the bell (unless otherwise noted) and announce service visit
    • Vacuum, skim, and brush pool at each visit
    • Empty pump and skimmer baskets each visit
    • Backwash and clean cartridges as needed
    • Inspect pool equipment and report issues that cannot be fixed during the visit
    • Perform water chemistry checks and balance as required
    • Complete water analysis report with notes of work performed, issues found, and customer expectations; leave a copy for the customer
    • Contact the office and speak with the In-House Mechanic when unsure of procedures
    • Adhere to all safety guidelines
    • Start time is 7:30 AM; technician must be on the road to the first job site by 8:00 AM (deductions apply if not adhered to)
    • Provide at least two weeks’ notice for personal day requests
    • Obtain supervisor approval for any job changes between technicians
    • Notify office immediately of any accidents or incidents with company vehicles
  • Compensation & Benefits
    • Hourly Rate: $20–$24 per hour (depending on experience)

    • Seasonal Position (April–October)
  • Qualifications
    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • Prior pool cleaning or maintenance experience preferred
    • Ability to lift 50–75 lbs. unassisted, multiple times per day
    • Ability to frequently reach, stoop, bend, and kneel daily
    • Ability to withstand extensive walking and standing daily
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Proficiency with basic computer systems
