  • Parks and Recreation seasonal employment typically begins around mid-May and may run through Labor Day.
  • Seasonal employees in the Parks Department normally work 40 or more hours per week.
  • Aquatic, petting farm and maintenance positions work outdoors; recreation leaders frequently work outdoors.

SUMMER RECREATION LEADER
This position is responsible for coordinating, implementing and / or assisting with recreation classes, programs and summer camps for children and teenagers; greeting customers and answering the telephone; and keeping the facility clean. Must be at least 16 years of age to be hired; prior experience working with children is beneficial.
PAY GRADE SA07 / $15.33 PER HOUR
