Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough initial assessments to evaluate client mental health needs, utilizing evidence-based evaluation tools and methodologies.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, setting clear objectives and outlining therapeutic interventions aimed at achieving measurable progress.
  • Provide counseling services to clients in both individual and group settings, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges.
  • Document and maintain accurate client records, including progress notes and treatment plans, in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, psychiatrists, and case managers, to ensure coordinated care for clients.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development sessions, staying current with best practices, therapeutic modalities, and mental health research.
  • Support community outreach efforts aimed at reducing stigma around mental health issues and increasing awareness of available services.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Peak Performance Psychotherapy Services, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including children, families, and individuals facing various mental health challenges. Our clinic serves clients with varying mental health diagnoses, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD, and substance abuse issues. Your clinical experience and sensitivity towards different demographics will be invaluable in crafting effective therapeutic relationships and interventions.

Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) certification in the state of Arizona.
  • A minimum of 3 years of direct experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating a consistent application of therapeutic skills and techniques.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills that facilitate effective client interactions and teamwork.
  • A commitment to ethical practices and ongoing professional growth, including participation in supervision or consultation as required.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with specific populations, such as children, families, or individuals dealing with trauma and substance abuse, is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline patient management and documentation.

Compensation and Benefits
