HR ManagerLocation: Springfield, MA area


We are partnering with a rapidly growing, privately held company that has nearly doubled in size over the past several years and is now approaching 100 employees. With a brand-new office and an outstanding culture, this organization is seeking an HR Manager who is excited to take full ownership of the HR function and make a meaningful impact.

This is a unique opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys both hands-on execution in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

The HR Manager will oversee the full scope of generalist and day-to-day tactical HR operations, including:

  • Benefits administration
  • Leave management, including FMLA and Massachusetts PFML
  • Employee onboarding and offboarding
  • HRIS and employee records management
  • HR compliance and reporting
  • Performance review tracking
  • Employee handbook maintenance and policy support

In addition to managing core HR operations, this person will also contribute at a strategic level by supporting:

  • HR budget management
  • Strategic planning
  • Organizational development
  • Broader people operations initiatives

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience
  • Strong knowledge of Massachusetts HR practices and regulations
  • Experience with Massachusetts PFML
  • Construction or industrial industry experience preferred
  • Strong HRIS proficiency and comfort working within internal systems
