Job description

The Country Club of Rochester is a prestigious Platinum Club of America and one of the country's oldest clubs with deep roots in the community.

This is a great chance to be part of a devoted team who takes pride in providing excellent golf course conditions. We are seeking a qualified and dedicated individual to fill the Seasonal Grounds Maintenance Position!

Job Summary:

Under the general guidance and supervision of the Grounds Superintendent, Grounds Maintenance is responsible for all aspects of golf course maintenance, grounds maintenance, and overall property care.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Work Monday-Friday 6:30am-2:30pm with 1 weekend shift from 6am-10am

· Mowing of approaches, tees, greens, and rough areas

· Raking, weeding, and other maintenance of sand bunkers

· Repairing ball marks and seeding divots

· Repairing, soiling, and seeding areas

· Watering of turfgrass

· Repairing of paths and roadways

· General trimming of property areas and landscaped areas

· Cleaning of grounds and related equipment

· Cleaning of ground shop and related areas

· All other grounds and building maintenance activities that need to be accomplished

Supportive Functions:

· Responsible for assisting in presenting an organized and professional maintenance facility compound.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Must be very organized and focused on accomplishing assignments

· Must be able to arrive for very early morning start times that vary based on sunrise and golf event start times

· Ability to perform the physical duties associated with the mowing and maintenance of a large property, a golf course, and grounds features.
