Job description

The Dishwasher plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of the kitchen at Ravenwood Golf Club. This position ensures that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized, contributing to a safe and welcoming dining experience for guests and staff.
Essential Functions:
  • Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas including sinks, counters, floors, and trash receptacles.
  • Ensure proper storage of clean items in designated areas.
  • Monitor dishwashing supplies and notify manager when inventory is low.
  • Assist kitchen staff with basic food prep or other tasks as needed.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of chemicals and equipment.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
  • Support team members during busy service periods to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
