This travel RN role in a Pre-Op/PACU environment enriches your nursing portfolio by immersing you in a fast-paced unit renowned for teamwork, state-of-the-art technology, and excellent patient ratios (1:3). Work alongside an experienced, support-driven team, learning new standards of practice and diverse leadership styles. With exposure to cutting-edge equipment like Pyxis systems, GE MACVU EKG machines, Dopplers, and more, your technical skills and adaptability will flourish.
Schedule/Hours:

  • Day shifts: 5A - 5P
  • On-call required with a 30-minute response time
Desired Qualifications:
  • Active RN license, unencumbered
  • At least 1 year of recent acute care Pre-Op RN hospital experience
  • Current BLS & ACLS certifications
  • Strong communication skills prioritizing patient experience
  • Preferred: Experience with Meditech, previous pre-op work, flexibility to support pre-op staff
Role Responsibilities:
  • Provide preoperative assessment and care for surgical, endoscopy, cath lab, CT, and outpatient infusion patients
  • Manage Phase 2 recovery for urology, GYN, and other SDS cases
  • Administer outpatient EKGs, blood transfusions, and blocks
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain high standards of documentation and patient safety within Meditech

$1,936 - $2,048/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
