Job description

Location: Miami Area Command, Miami, Florida     

Position Type: Non-Exempt

Pay Range: $12.00-$15.00/ Per Hour     

About this opportunity:

This position is responsible for planning and providing activities and child care services for children participating in the Summer Day Camp Program; plans.

Key responsibilities:

  • Plans, develops and facilitates recreational activities and play time.
  • Prepares and maintains program records.
  • Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of Corps property.

What we are looking for in you:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D   OR
  • Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

Ability to perform strenuous, heavy work involving the lifting and carrying of heavy objects. Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and some climbing.

Work is performed in an indoor and outdoor recreational environment where there may be physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
